DescriptionA quilt in the Oak Leaf and Reel pattern, hand pieced and appliqued, using a small floral repeat print cotton in tones of pink, brown, tan, and white, placed on a plain white cotton ground, set on point in a three by four arrangement, with half blocks along all four edges. The backing is of plain off-white cotton, with the thin cotton batting held in placed with extensive hand quilting in a circle and leaf pattern. A dark red cotton binding has been added at a later date, perhaps modern.NotesPlease note that another quilt, previously unaccessioned, was assigned the Textile Inventory number T1974.32.
