DescriptionA small rectangular storage box with exposed dovetail corner construction includes a simple board lid with applied front and side molding strips extending below the lid panel itself to form lipped edges. The lid attaches to the back of the box with shaped wrought iron hinges, opening to reveal a storage space with a small open till compartment on the left side. At the bottom of the box are two simple drawers with small wooden pulls, and a plain slab base. A crude brass escutcheon with roughly cut edges, held in place with brass brad nails, has been added to the center of the box just below the lid.Collections
