DescriptionA storage piece that includes a molded lid with shallow molded cleats at both sides, fastened to the chest with tapered wrought iron hinges. The lid lifts to reveal a deep blanket or storage space hidden behind two false drawer fronts above two full-width true drawers. All drawer fronts are outlined with half-round molding and fitted with brass teardrop pulls and brass diamond-shaped backplates and escutcheons. The base is finished with an applied molding around the skirt. The chest sits on four turned ball feet, and retains an early red finish.Collections
