DescriptionA small quilt, possibly a table cover or a doll's quilt, in a Flying Geese variation, hand pieced of red and brown cotton prints alternating with plain white cotton, with green printed fabric as sashing and borders. Red printed cotton corner blocks. The plain red printed cotton backing is turned and brought to the front as a narrow binding. No batting is present.Curatorial RemarksThis quilt may have been made as a decorative table cover, as there is no batting between the pieced front and single fabric back.
