DescriptionA toy rattle consisting of six 1/4" pieces of wood with rounded corners, joined together with carved slots to form roughly a cube shape. An unidentified material inside causes the object to rattle when shook.
Curatorial RemarksThis handmade wooden rattle is inscribed "T Abbott / 1843," presumably made either by or for T. Abbott that year.
