DescriptionA cast iron trade sign in the shape of a man's high boot with a high heel and the appearance of a sole. The sign bears traces of white paint.
NotesA boot shaped trade sign could have been used by a store that sold boots and shoes, or by a cobbler who repaired them.The shape of the toe and heel help to date this boot to the third quarter of the nineteenth century
